Recurring invoicing and Belgian law

Belgian legislation allows recurring invoicing as long as each invoice is numerically unique (sequential numbering) and issued no later than the 15th of the month following the service. What frequencies are available?

Monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual. You can also set a custom frequency.

Can I modify a recurring invoice?

Yes. Changes apply from the next occurrence. Already sent invoices are not modified.

Are reminders sent via Peppol?

No. Payment reminders are sent by email. The invoices themselves are sent via Peppol.

Can I stop recurring invoicing?

Yes. You can pause, resume or delete recurring invoicing at any time.

Can the amount vary each month?

Yes. You can configure a fixed amount or manually adjust the amount before each occurrence is sent.

How many recurring invoices can I create?

The number of recurring invoices is unlimited in all FACTURYS plans.
